The Danes will aim to keep their UEFA Nations League aspirations alive as they visit the mighty Three Lions over at the Wembley Stadium this Thursday night.

Gareth Southgate has a good problem on his hands as he will make the envious decision on who will he put in the starting XI ahead of this match.

Denmark looking to stay alive
Kasper Hjulmand got his first competitive win as the Danes’ head coach and he is certainly hopeful that they can turn things around in Group A2.
Their chances of making it to the next round are looking bleak especially after a poor run of results in their first few matches.
They clearly had a rough time in finding the back of the net as they were held scoreless in their matches against England and Belgium prior to Iceland.
The duo of Robert Skov and Christian Eriksen would have to do the heavy lifting anew if they want to make it far in the tournament.
Yussuf Poulsen and Martin Braithwaite should also contribute to their attack while Mathias Jensen and Thomas Delaney can provide fresh legs in the midfield.
The Three Lions are sure to try and exploit the Danes’ suspect backline, and that will be a crucial factor too for this match.

The historical matchup between the Three Lions and the Danes has been one-sided.
In their 22 matches against each other, England won in 13, while Denmark won in four along with five draws.
One of those draws came from last month where both were held to a stalemate.
