Luckily for them, Rodolfo Pizarro quickly settled the final score for Mexico, scoring the game’s only goal in the fourth minute. What happened next was a one-sided game that saw Honduras desperately trying to score an equaliser without sacrificing their stability on the back.
Their plan failed after Mexico took 64% of the possession and had more shots than their opponents. With the win, Mexico will face a strong Jamaica squad full of confidence.
