Juventus 2-0 Udinese
A win at home coupled with a Napoli draw at Milan catapulted Juventus to the top of Serie A and shifted the betting odds to the defending champions’ favour.

In an emotional game at Florence, Fiorentina paid tribute to their captain Davide Astori before and after their 1-0 victory over Benevento. Vitor Hugo scored the only goal of the game on 25 minutes and celebrated by raising a shirt with Astori’s picture.
On the other hand, Roma solidified their top-three bid by beating Torino, 3-0, while fourth-placed Lazio suffered a setback with a 2-2 stalemate against a feisty Cagliari side.
At the bottom of the standings, Crotone boosted their survival hopes as they hit four goals against Sampdoria. The same goes for Hellas Verona who stunned Chievo with a second-half goal to win, 1-0.
SPAL and Sassuolo, meanwhile, remained at death’s door as they fought out a 1-1 draw at the Mapei Stadium.
Elsewhere, there were 0-1 wins for Atalanta and AC Milan as they got more reason to believe that they can qualify for Europe.
