Chelsea currently lead Group C, but a win by Roma at Stamford Bridge will see them drop from the top.
The Blues have the better team on paper, and the possible return of prized summer signing Alvaro Morata should give them a boost. Nonetheless, with sparkplug N’Golo Kante still out, their midfield players have a huge hole to fill.
Roma could certainly take advantage of that glaring issue. And luckily for them, they have the in-form Edin Dzeko ready to pounce.
This one could go either way. Though, I like the chances of Roma especially after Chelsea’s latest defeat to struggling Crystal Palace in the English top flight.
