The hosts are looking as deadly as ever with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez up front, while players like Philippe Coutinho, Ousmane Dembele and Andres Iniesta will make life troublesome for them in the midfield.
Eusebio Di Francesco has a lot of defensive adjustments to make in order to stop Messi and friends from scoring. It’s easy to dismiss this game as a runaway win for Manchester City, but hear me out a bit.
The Sky Blues are pretty much sure winners of the league title, but the Reds pulled off one of the most impressive victories over Pep Guardiola’s team. Thanks to the heroics of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, Jurgen Klopp enjoyed a great victory in their last match.
However, Pep Guardiola’s lads proved that they can score if they will so. Klopp needs to make sure that their defence is air-tight to prevent themselves from facing a difficult task at the Etihad.
