The Big Battle for Europe is Getting Tense!

Fans should expect the football games of Bundesliga to get all the more intense!

With only less than 10 league games left in the season, the top clubs vying for Champions League football will be doing everything they can to turn their points to wins. This is especially true for RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund after they gave sports betting fans an interesting draw last week.

We can be sure that betting odds will be tighter than ever, and those will make for very entertaining battles!

WEEK 26 FRIDAY:

Mainz 05 vs Schalke 05

Mainz need to win at their home grounds if they want to get out of the relegation battle. However, Schalke have been outstanding this season and won’t likely lose away. I expect the visitors to at least keep their spot behind Bayern Munich for at least another week.

WEEK 26 SATURDAY:

Bayern Munich vs Hamburger SV

Save the interesting draw against Berlin, the Bavarians have been overwhelming their opponents game after game. With players such as James Rodriguez, Robert Lewandowski and Arturo Vidal, there’s no wonder that they are heavy favourites in their upcoming match against the winless Hamburg.

TSG 1899 Hoffenheim vs Wolfsburg

Hoffenheim have a mixed bag of results if we look at their last five matches. While they are far from desirable, Julian Nagelsmann’s team has won enough somewhat to keep themselves in the Europe chase. Meanwhile, Wolfsburg haven’t won anything since January and are desperate to win despite the absence of Ignacio Camacho.

I think Die Kraichgauer will win at home and challenge Leipzig for sixth, making Hoffenheim -0.75 @ 1.89 a viable bet to take.

Hertha BSC vs SC Freiburg

Both Berlin and Freiburg need the points after only won one game out of their last five. This six-pointer could decide whether they get dragged into the relegation battle. Freiburg handily got their behinds handed to them by Munich last time while Berlin pulled off an impressive upset at the Allianz Arena the week prior. Berlin will need the help of their home crowd if they hope to take the three points.

Hannover 96 vs FC Augsburg

Hannover needs stability in defence more than anything at the moment, and that means extra leadership from top defender Salif Sane. He will especially need to watch out for Michael Gregoritsch to help secure the three points for his team.

Bayer Leverkusen vs Borussia Monchengladbach

Bayer Leverkusen may be struggling to win consistently, but they are surely in the mix for Champions League qualification. While Monchengladbach aren’t an easy side to host, Heiko Herrlich is more than confident that his lads would be able to keep the three points at the BayArena.

I also think that Leon Bailey will make up for his disappointing show against Schalke, so a bet on Leverkusen with a -0.75 handicap offers 1.98.

WEEK 26 SUNDAY:

VfB Stuttgart vs RB Leipzig

Leipzig finally managed to snap their losing skid with a draw against Dortmund, but Ralph Hasenhuttl’s boys cannot rest a bit. They need to snag a win against a red-hot Stuttgart if they want to keep contending for Champions League football. Meanwhile, Mario Gomez and Erik Thommy will continue to mount the offensive for Die Roten.

Borussia Dortmund vs Eintracht Frankfurt

The BVB may be disappointed that they failed to take all of the three points when they visited Red Bull Arena, but there’s nowhere to look but up. Unfortunately for them, stopping Frankfurt will be a tough task. Marco Reus would have to do a bit of heavy-lifting to bring the three points home.

While Niko Kovac has moulded Frankfurt into an outstanding club, I don’t see them winning at the Signal-Iduna-Park. This should at least end in a draw, and bookies offer 3.65 for such a punt.

WEEK 26 MONDAY:

SV Werder Bremen vs 1. FC Koln

It may be too late for the Billy Goats to try and salvage this season, but that doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t put up a fierce fight. Bremen are still dangerously close to the relegation playoff, and a loss here would definitely put them in the mix. Extra effort is expected out of Simon Terodde and Jonas Hector.
