There’s a battle of the Blues on Merseyside, and it’s one which will tell us much about who may take the last Europa League place if seventh, as expected, is good enough. The Foxes have two wins in the last three league games to rise to that coveted position, while the Toffees are without a win in six. But Big Sam had already steadied the ship and lifted them to ninth.

Southampton vs Brighton & Hove Albion (February 01, 03:45 GMT+8)
And there’s a huge game on the South Coast where Brighton makes the short trip to Hampshire in a relegation six-pointer. Saints fans are astonished to see their talented team languishing in the drop zone, while Brighton sit in 16th and are just a point ahead after a good start to the campaign. Two points from five games have left Chris Hughton’s side at the mercy of Southampton, and I can see them swapping places.
