The Raptors knew they were in trouble when LeBron James had the time for a beer during the Game 1 of their NBA playoffs series with the Cavaliers.
Okay, it was already late in the game and was just a fake swig – though it would have been fun if there were betting odds offered on LeBron drinking a beer – however, it just shows how confident the King is.

Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love combined for 42 points as the defending champs built a 25-point third-quarter lead. The Raptors, meanwhile, received a boost from Kyle Lowry who scored 20 besides racking up 11 dimes, but the Cavs’ game plan of slowing down DeMar DeRozan greatly crippled the Toronto offence.
Houston Rockets 126-99 San Antonio Spurs
It was the worst defensive display from the Spurs and one of the best for the Rockets.
After Houston jumped into a 30-point first half advantage, most fans were hoping that San Antonio would turn their gears in the second and reduce the gap significantly. But instead, the misery piled on Gregg Popovich’s men as the hot-handed Rockets torched them for a 126-99 blowout at the AT&T Center.
James Harden and Trevor Ariza were equally remarkable in the match, with the latter anchoring the offence with 23 points while making half of his 14 attempts. The biggest revelations though were Ryan Anderson and Clint Capela who outclassed the frontcourt duo of LaMarcus Aldridge and David Lee as they dominated the painted area.
Kawhi Leonard gave it his all, but he struggled mightily as the Rockets limited him to just 21 points on 35.7 percent shooting.
