The New-Look NBA Season Makes Sports Betting Exciting

To be honest, this young NBA season has proved itself to be quite an eclectic one. The summer was a crazy trade circus where a lot of talent got shipped off to different clubs. Live betting fans were treated to a fun opening weekend of basketball that was unfortunately ridden with injuries.

Besides the injuries, a lot of the players that were shuffled around are thriving with their new teams, influencing betting odds. It will still take a while for them to fully gel with their new squads, but some of them will definitely wow crowds.

Brooklyn Nets @ Orlando Magic (October 25, 07:00 GMT+8)

D’Angelo Russell is showing the Brooklyn faithful why Magic Johnson made the wrong call in letting him go. He’s had ice in his veins ever since the start of the season and will definitely be a tough assignment for the Magic. With Elfrid Payton out due to injuries, I don’t know if Orlando can put enough distance between them. Go for Brooklyn’s +4.00 @ 1.95.

Chicago Bulls @ Cleveland Cavaliers  (October 25, 07:00 GMT+8)

Life has been better for Dwyane Wade ever since reuniting with Banana Boat buddy LeBron James in Cleveland. He will now face his old team that is having a lot of issues at the moment. I don’t think Fred Hoiberg can really plan for LeBron when his team is full of holes. Grab some cash and put it on Cleveland -14.00 @ 1.86.

New York Knicks @ Boston Celtics  (October 25, 07:30 GMT+8)

The brand-new Celtics finally got their first win of the season after pounding the 76ers to the ground. Kyrie Irving and company should be able to find a winning groove by now and easily overtake the Kristaps Porzingis-led Knickerbockers. There’s no better punt to make than Boston -9.00 @ 2.05.

Indiana Pacers @ Minnesota Timberwolves  (October 25, 08:00 GMT+8)

Andrew Wiggins’ incredible buzzer beater at Oklahoma City gives the Timberwolves a lot of momentum coming into this game. They are the obvious favourites against Indiana, a decent team that many will likely pass on this season. Myles Turner’s absence will hurt Indiana’s chances, so chuck your bets for Minnesota -11.50 @ 2.05.

New Orleans Pelicans @ Portland Trail Blazers  (October 25, 10:00 GMT+8)

The Pelicans have a negative win-loss record, but they still have the talents of DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis to carry them through. Portland will probably win against them, but they should be able to keep the deficit to less than 10 points. Portland -4.50 @ 2.00 is the best punt to make since they’ll likely win by six to nine points.

Utah Jazz @ Los Angeles Clippers  (October 25, 10:30 GMT+8)

Point Blake is on full display for the Clippers and will likely dominate against Utah. While Ricky Rubio is doing pretty well for the Jazz, Quinn Snyder will definitely miss the scoring of Rodney Hood if he does not get fit on time. Rudy Gobert will be too occupied with DeAndre Jordan to even try to stop everyone else on the roster, so Los Angeles should easily win this one.
