NBA: Recovered Bulls Look to Pick Up Where They Left Off

It’s back to business for the Bulls following a COVID-19 outbreak within their training ground as they’ll play their third NBA game in three days. They’ve earned back-to-back wins over the Lakers and the Rockets, and tomorrow they’re set to host the Raptors.

Meanwhile, the Celtics, Hawks, Thunder, Bucks, and Kings are all slated to defend their homecourt as they’ll square off against the Cavaliers, Magic, Nuggets, Rockets, and Clippers respectively.

Learn more about tomorrow’s six-game slate courtesy of today’s preview from SBOTOP.

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Boston Celtics

The Celtics look to get back to .500 as they continue to navigate through COVID-19. Boston are coming off a loss against the Sixers, making it their fifth defeat in seven games.

Al Horford, Grant Williams, Jabari Parker, Juancho Hernangomez, Sam Hauser, Josh Richardson, and Brodric Thomas were all sidelined due to the league’s health and safety protocols, leaving the likes of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown to carry the signifcant load.

The Cavaliers weren’t spared by the coronavirus either with Evan Mobley, Isaac Okoro, Jarrett Allen, Lamar Stevens, Dylan Windler, Denzel Valentine, and RJ Nembhard out, but they’ve been making some noise since they hold a six-game winning streak.

Both sides have split their meetings at Cleveland this season, and the Celtics are keen to use their homecourt advantage this time around.

Betting Tip: Boston Celtics Asian Handicap -5.50 @ 1.98

Orlando Magic @ Atlanta Hawks

The Hawks plan to halt their six-game home slide against the Magic in what will be their first match in four days. Like most teams today, Atlanta and Orlando have had their share of positive COVID-19 cases.

Atlanta will be missing the services of star guard Trae Young, who is the second-leading scorer in the NBA (27.3 PPG). Young is already dealing with a nagging ankle injury and he entered the league’s protocols alongside Clint Capela and Danilo Gallinari.

John Collins will shoulder more of the load while Lou Williams and Delon Wright will deputise for Trae Young.

Orlando, meanwhile, will depend on veterans Robin Lopez and Gary Harris while Cole Anthony is questionable to play.

Betting Tip: Atlanta Hawks Asian Handicap -8.50 @ 1.95

Denver Nuggets @ Oklahoma City Thunder

Nikola Jokic aims to boost his NBA 2021 odds for another MVP when his Nuggets visit the Thunder tomorrow.

The Serbian has been carrying Denver on his back as they continue to miss several key players by producing MVP-level numbers and multiple NBA 2021 highlights.

Expectations aren’t high for a rebuilding OKC team this season, which is why it’s surprising to learn that they have a two-game winning streak heading into this contest.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey, and Lu Dort represent the Thunder’s young core, although seeing them win more games might give their top management mixed feelings.

Betting Tip: Denver Nuggets Asian Handicap -5.50 @ 1.87

Toronto Raptors @ Chicago Bulls

Confidence is at a high for the Bulls heading into this contest. Most of their key players are back, which is in stark contrast to the Raptors’ situation.

DeMar DeRozan, Nikola Vucevic, and Lonzo Ball are primed to lead Chicago to another win since the Raptors are severely undermanned due to COVID-19.

Toronto won’t have Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam, Gary Trent Jr., Dalano Banton, and Malachi Flynn available for tomorrow.

Chicago beat Toronto in the first meeting this season as former Raptor DeMar DeRozan led the way. He is at the top of his game lately, averaging 32 PPG in their previous two matches.

Betting Tip: Chicago Bulls Asian Handicap -9.50 @ 1.93

Houston Rockets @ Milwaukee Bucks

The upstart Rockets are seeking revenge against the Bucks, who were the ones responsible in ending their improbable seven-game winning streak earlier this campaign.

Since the said defeat, Houston have lost four of their last six as their struggles on the defencive end have re-emerged.

Milwaukee dropped two games in a row as they’ve missed Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton, although the latter is expected to be available following a knee injury.

The combo of Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton should be enough to end their slide, although they cannot afford to take the Rockets for granted.

Betting Tip: Milwaukee Bucks Asian Handicap -9.50 @ 1.95

Los Angeles Clippers @ Sacramento Kings

The Kings are keen on grabbing their third win over the Clippers this season, but it’ll be easier said than done.

Sacramento have seven players in the NBA’s health and safety protocols, which includes star point guard De’Aaron Fox. Moreover, they’re hopeful that Richaun Holmes is available since he’s missed seven straight games due to an eye injury.

Betting Tip: Los Angeles Clippers Asian Handicap -5.50 @ 1.95
