The Thunder and Cavaliers saw their long winning streaks end recently, and suddenly the Kings are now the most in-form team in the NBA. Since the departure of Mike Brown, Sacramento have won seven games in a row, and they plan to make it eight straight when they visit the Bucks tomorrow at Fiserv Forum.
Speaking of the Thunder and Cavaliers, they will visit the Sixers and the Pacers to try and create a new winning streak. The Suns, Pelicans, Nuggets, and Nets will take on the Hawks, Bulls, Mavericks, and Blazers on the road, respectively.
There are only seven games on the menu tomorrow, but SBOTOP basketball fans shouldn’t fret since they will get their usual dose of NBA 2025 highlights. Without further ado, continue reading below the preview of the top three matches to watch out for.
Cleveland Cavaliers @ Indiana Pacers
The Cavaliers saw their 12-game unbeaten streak end last Sunday, and they can redeem themselves when they meet the Pacers (again) in the second game of their back-to-back set.
Cleveland had one of their lowest-scoring games of the season in the defeat, as they only tallied 93 points. Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen scored 20, 19, 16, and 11 points, respectively, but they didn’t get much contribution from the others. And as a team, they only shot 39.8-per cent from the field compared to Indiana’s 46.7-per cent.
The NBA 2025 odds expect the Cavaliers to return to winning ways. But to do so, they’ll need better performances from their franchise player, Donovan Mitchell. The five-time NBA All-Star has failed to score at least 20 points in four straight appearances.
Andrew Nembhard and Pascal Siakam paced Indiana to upset Cleveland, notching 19 and 18 points, respectively. Myles Turner, Bennedict Mathurin, Obi Toppin, and Thomas Bryant added 15, 12, 12, and 11 points. However, they might find it difficult to replicate their performance since star point guard Tyrese Haliburton is doubtful for tomorrow due to a hamstring injury.
Betting tip – Cleveland Cavaliers Asian Handicap -7.00 @ 1.91
Oklahoma City Thunder @ Philadelphia Sixers
Since losing to the Cavaliers last Wednesday, the Thunder secured back-to-back wins against the Knicks and the Wizards. The Thunder’s most recent win against the Wizards is one of their best results this season because they won by 41 points.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led Oklahoma City in the 136-95 victory on Sunday night, putting up 27 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals on a subpar 5-for-17 shooting from the field and 16-for-17 shooting from the free throw line. Aaron Wiggins was a huge spark off the bench, with 23 points nine rebounds, and four assists on 7-for-11 shooting from the field.
The Sixers have three defeats in their last four games, including back-to-back losses against the Pelicans and the Magic. Tyrese Maxey and Paul George are doing everything they can to make up for Joel Embiid’s absence, but it hasn’t been enough. Maxey and George combined for 54 points in the losing effort last Sunday.
Joel Embiid will miss his fifth consecutive game due to a left foot sprain. With Embiid and backup Andre Drummond sidelined, Philadelphia are shorthanded in the frontcourt since Guerschon Yabusele is their only legitimate center, and the Frenchman is barely even 6’9”.
Betting tip – Oklahoma City Thunder Asian Handicap -11.00 @ 2.05
Sacramento Kings @ Milwaukee Bucks
The Kings improved to a 20-19 record, good for ninth in the Western Conference, with Doug Christie being the interim head coach. During their seven-game winning streak, Sacramento notched impressive victories against Dallas, Golden State, and Boston.
Domantas Sabonis has been a beast during the Kings’ hot stretch, averaging 19.9 points, 17.3 rebounds, and 7.0 assists per game on 60.0-per cent shooting from the field. The three-time NBA All-Star has recorded at least 20 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists in three of his last four outings.
Co-star De’Aaron Fox was out for three consecutive games due to a glute injury but returned with aplomb against the Bulls. The one-time NBA All-Star racked up 26 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and four three-pointers on 9-for-16 shooting from the field last Sunday.
The Bucks (20-17) fell to sixth in the Eastern Conference after they saw their three-game winning streak end at the hands of the Knicks last Sunday. In the 140-106 blowout loss, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard combined for 46 points, while Khris Middleton had 16 points off the bench.
Betting tip – Over 27.50 Total Rebounds (Giannis Antetokounmpo and Domantas Sabonis) @ 1.94
