NBA: Kevin Durant to Meet His Old Mates in Golden State Again

The Suns are undefeated against the Warriors so far this season, and they’re keen to make it four wins on the bounce when they convene for their final NBA regular season meeting in Chase Center tomorrow.

SBOTOP basketball fans are in for a huge treat, as we will get to see two of the league’s best scorers, Kevin Durant and Steph Curry, go at it again, and they have a lot of history together given their time as Warriors teammates.

Elsewhere, the Thunder, Pistons, Spurs, Grizzlies, Bulls, Sixers, Rockets, Pacers, Cavaliers, and Pelicans are set to visit the Mavericks, Clippers, Nets, Hornets, Magic, Wizards, Hawks, Knicks, Raptors, and Blazers to round out another hectic day in the Association.

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Dallas Mavericks

Two teams that were busy during the trade deadline will get to show off their retooled rosters at the American Airlines Center.

For the Thunder, they flipped their seldom-used players for an established veteran in Gordon Hayward, while the Mavericks managed to get Daniel Gafford and PJ Washington in separate deals.

In terms of form, the eighth-seeded Mavs have the edge because they’re on a three-game winning streak, while the second-seeded Thunder are coming off a loss.

Luka Doncic has been phenomenal during Dallas’ unbeaten run, having averaged 31.0 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 7.7 assists per game. He will go up against fellow All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who has posted norms of 27.3 points, 10.0 assists, and 5.3 rebounds per game in his last three.

Betting tip: Oklahoma City Thunder Asian Handicap -3.00 @ 2.06

Houston Rockets @ Atlanta Hawks

If the Rockets are going to be in the play-in mix, they must be able to end their skid as soon as possible. A huge reason why Houston have lost three straight is because of the injuries to their key players.

One of them is Fred VanVleet, who is such a huge loss since he is the Rockets’ floor general. This season, he is averaging 16.5 points, 8.2 assists, and 3.7 rebounds per game, and he’s expected to miss three more games due to a strained thigh.

Meanwhile, the Hawks are back in the play-in mix as the 10th seed after they defeated the Sixers on Friday. Trae Young went off for 37 points, 12 rebounds, and five three-pointers to lift the squad, which was without Dejounte Murray (back).

Indiana Pacers @ New York Knicks

The New York Knicks are keen to get back to their winning ways when they clash against the Indiana Pacers
New York Knicks forward Julius Randle celebrates his three point shot against the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center

The NBA 2024 odds are in favour of the Pacers for tomorrow’s game because the Knicks are severely undermanned.

Julius Randle (shoulder) and OG Anunoby (elbow) have been sidelined for weeks, while Isaiah Hartenstein is also out because he tweaked his Achilles against the Mavericks on Thursday.

However, once they all return, the Knicks figure to be a formidable Eastern Conference squad because they reinforced their depth with the additions of Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks during the trade deadline.

As for the Pacers, they’re starting to come together after winning two of their last three. After acquiring Pascal Siakam in January, they managed to acquire Furkan Korkmaz, Doug McDermott, and Cory Joseph during the trade deadline.

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Toronto Raptors

The red-hot Cavaliers just couldn’t stop winning as they stretched their unbeaten run to eight games in a row. Their latest victims were the Nets, whom they blew out last Thursday.

In the said victory, Donovan Mitchell led the way with 27 points, five rebounds, four assists, three steals, and three blocks, while Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen, and Darius Garland had 14 points each.

The Raptors, on the other hand, have now won two straight after enduring a three-game losing streak last week. In their 107-104 victory against the Rockets on Friday, Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett combined for 46 points.

Toronto were also busy during the trade deadline, and they ended up getting Kelly Olynyk and Ochai Agbaji from Utah.

Phoenix Suns @ Golden State Warriors

The Warriors can feel a sense of momentum building after their recent run of NBA 2024 results, which saw them winning against the Nets, Sixers, and Pacers.

Steph Curry lit the scoreboard against the Pacers, as he scored 29 of his 42 points in the first half en route to the 131-109 blowout victory.

The Suns also won their last game, a 129-115 result over the Jazz, as Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal combined for 61 points with Devin Booker out due to a sore hip. Devin Booker is no longer on the Suns’ injury report, which means that the Warriors are going to be in for a long night.
