The NBA Never Really Fails to Surprise!

We’ve got some live betting stunners in today’s action-packed NBA day as Miami, Phoenix and Portland all grabbed wins to delight their home fans and online gambling supporters.

The Suns upset the betting odds with a dominating victory over the Thunder, while both the Heat and Blazers escaped with a one-point lead thanks to some last-gasp game-winners.

Utah Jazz 102-103 Miami Heat

Josh Richardson was in the spotlight for the Heat once again, scoring 14 points including the game-winning layup with 5.1 seconds left on the clock.

It was a close fight throughout, but Utah came up just short despite a big 27-point performance from rookie sensation Donovan Mitchell. Meanwhile, six players scored in double digits for Miami, led by Goran Dragic who had 16 markers and six dimes.

New York Knicks 100-96 Dallas Mavericks

Despite trailing by as much as 13 points, the Mavs fought valiantly behind Harrison Barnes. However, they registered just one basket in the final minute of play as the Knicks took advantage and pulled away for good.

Kristaps Porzingis showed why he is the next European star after Dirk Nowitzki, tallying 29 points and corralling eight boards to pace the Knicks to victory.

Oklahoma City Thunder 100-114 Phoenix Suns

Although Russell Westbrook bagged another triple-double, his efforts weren’t enough against a Phoenix side that had Devin Booker, TJ Warren and Dragan Bender scoring 20-plus points.

It also helped the Suns that they were able to hit their 3s, finishing 17 of 39 from beyond the arc as compared to the Thunder who made just eight out of their 27 attempts.

San Antonio Spurs 110-111 Portland Trail Blazers

It was a see-saw affair in the closing stages of the San Antonio–Portland matchup; and in the end, it was the Blazers who came out on top after CJ McCollum banked the winning floater with 5.9 seconds left.

LaMarcus Aldridge tried to save the Spurs against his former team, but he missed the jumper that could have put them back in front in the dying seconds. The 32-year-old forward finished with 30 points and 14 rebounds for the visitors, while McCollum led the home team with an all-around effort of 25 points, seven assists and five boards.

Atlanta Hawks 113-132 Los Angeles Lakers

Los Angeles snapped their nine-game skid at the expense of lowly Atlanta, who never had a chance after trailing by 18 at halftime.

The Purple and Gold had everything going in their favour and finished on 55.8 percent shooting. They also dominated the rebounding and assist departments to pile more misery on the Hawks.

Brandon Ingram displayed some great plays on his way to 20 points. Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball, on the other hand, was the usual impactful player he is with his double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds (along with six assists).
