The postseason is well underway, and the games in store are sure to get some interesting betting odds!
The Cavaliers and the Rockets enter the fray as well as very interesting matches. Meanwhile, the Sixers and the Warriors will be looking to double their series advantage and make live betting fans jump on the bandwagon.
Which team deserves your free bets? Let’s find out!
Milwaukee Bucks @ Boston Celtics (April 16, 02:00 GMT +8)
If the Celtics had a healthy roster, this series would have been overwhelmingly in their favour. While the current C’s can put up a strong resistance under Brad Stevens’ tutelage, I don’t see them overcoming the amazing athlete that is Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Since I see a Milwaukee win here, choosing Milwaukee +3.50 @ 2.07 is a good punt to make.
Indiana Pacers @ Cleveland Cavaliers (April 16, 04:30 GMT +8)
Victor Oladipo has been nothing short of a revelation for the Pacers. His sudden jump from being an option player to the leading role definitely puts him in front of the Most Improved Player race.
However, LeBron James is also playing some amazing basketball. The King’s overall greatness as a player will definitely negate Oladipo’s presence. While the Pacers won the regular-season series, the Cavs are a completely different team come the playoffs.
The Cavs will win, but I see this ending in a close-enough margin. A good punt, in my opinion, is one towards Indiana +6.00 @ 2.11.
Utah Jazz @ Oklahoma City Thunder (April 16, 07:30 GMT +8)
This series is bound to be an interesting one as Russell Westbrook will be looking to trade blows with Utah’s Donovan Mitchell.
The Jazz are badly outgunned when it comes to individual talent. Ricky Rubio and Rudy Gobert are good players, but they cannot just be compared side-by-side against Paul George and Carmelo Anthony. Fortunately for them, Quin Snyder has established a fantastic system that plays around Utah’s strengths.
Despite all of the positives I said, I still believe that star power and home-court advantage will pull the Thunder through. Oklahoma City -4.00 @ 2.04 is the best pick to make.
Minnesota Timberwolves @ Houston Rockets (April 16, 10:00 GMT +8)
The Wolves are just happy to make it to the big dance, but I don’t think they can hold a candle to the Houston Rockets. The hosts outgun their young visitors in almost every category, and their record during the regular season doesn’t do them any favours.
Not choosing the Rockets for this round is a stupid thing to do. Pick Houston -11.00 @ 1.95 to get nice returns.
Miami Heat @ Philadelphia 76ers (April 17, 09:00 GMT +8)
Ben Simmons played a key role in an outstanding rout of the Miami Heat by the Sixers during Game 1. What’s more impressive is that they did this without Joel Embiid.
Erik Spoelstra should have done the necessary adjustments to combat Simmons, but I’m not sure if there’s anyone on the Heat roster that can contain the big Aussie. Philadelphia -7.00 @ 1.97 is the obvious choice.
San Antonio Spurs @ Golden State Warriors (April 17, 11:30 GMT +8)
The Golden State Warriors have gone into playoff mode as they easily dismantled the Leonard-less Spurs. Gregg Popovich could try to defy the inevitable by getting an upset win at the Oracle Arena, but I’m not sure he can pull off such a feat with the quality of players he currently has.
Durant and Friends should easily cruise past the Spurs for another easy win, making Golden State -9.50 @ 1.85 the no-nonsense option.
