13 is the Lucky Number For NBA Fans!

Thirteen games to play. Thirteen interesting matches to bet online on.

Most eyes will be on the wild playoff race in the Western Conference, but live betting fans shouldn’t sleep on the East as the conference’s top-five teams battle for better playoff seeding.

And who could forget the tank race at the bottom where the league’s worst teams try to improve their draft lottery odds?

Certainly, it’s a Wednesday even the most casual sports betting follower shouldn’t miss!

Brooklyn Nets @ Philadelphia 76ers (April 04, 07:00 GMT+8)

The Sixers are fighting for third in the East and they can move one step closer to the Cavaliers should they win this game. It will be hard without Joel Embiid, but they have already won 10 straight and are more than capable of beating an inconsistent Brooklyn team with Ben Simmons leading them. Choose Philly -8.50 @ 1.94.

Toronto Raptors @ Cleveland Cavaliers (April 04, 07:00 GMT+8)

Their last meeting a couple of weeks ago saw an intense battle that ended 132-129 in favour of the Cavaliers. Hence, their last regular season game against each other should be no different.

Cleveland, however, seem to have the advantage with LeBron James on a tear offensively and seemingly gearing up for the playoffs. It should also come as good news that the Raps have slipped up defensively over their past few games. With that said, I suggest betting on the Cavs -2.00 @ 2.03.

Atlanta Hawks @ Miami Heat (April 04, 07:30 GMT+8)

Miami need the W, Atlanta want the L: perfect!

The Hawks are bottom in the East and are in contention for the 2018 top pick, so they would certainly want to keep that coveted position until the end. For Miami, it’s an opportunity to clinch a playoff berth, though they will have to do something about their hit or miss offence.

Despite the Hawks’ struggles, I think they can keep this one close. Hence, betting on Atlanta +12.00 @ 1.90 is the way to go for me.

Orlando Magic @ New York Knicks (April 04, 07:30 GMT+8)

New York weren’t supposed to be here, but Kristaps Porzingis’ season-ending injury mid-way through the season blew all their hopes away.

Although Orlando are also fighting for the top pick in the draft and have no incentive to win, they might just have too much talent against the Knickerbockers who have Michael Beasley, Frank Ntilikina, Enes Kanter and Courtney Lee listed as game-time decisions. Go for Orlando +1.00 @ 1.95.

Charlotte Hornets @ Chicago Bulls (April 04, 08:00 GMT+8)

Despite Kemba Walker’s brilliance, the Hornets remain a lower-tier franchise. They have a chance to move up the standings and gain some respectability when they visit Chicago,  though they won’t have their hopes up against the young Bulls who have beaten them twice this season. Chicago +5.00 @ 1.99 is a no-brainer.

Golden State Warriors @ Oklahoma City Thunder (April 04, 08:00 GMT+8)

Can the Warriors even make the championship with their not so golden state?

The main question for the Dubs is if they can remain healthy throughout the postseason, but they can make a statement against the Thunder and show they are still the team to beat this year.

Oklahoma, however, appear to have found the reigning champions’ kryptonite, having won two of their last three meetings. Russell Westbrook even averaged 34 points and a near triple-double in both of those wins! Considering all these factors, the Thunder -3.50 @ 1.88 isn’t a bad bet to make.

Washington Wizards @ Houston Rockets (April 04, 08:00 GMT+8)

Following their loss to the Spurs, the NBA-best Rockets are raring to get back to the win column. However, it won’t be as easy as it sounds as they host the Wizards that blew them out by 18 points last December.

Not to mention that an upset is very likely considering Houston’s recent poor display against Phoenix and San Antonio that saw them tally a combined 19 three-pointers out of 63 attempts.

Boston Celtics @ Milwaukee Bucks (April 04, 08:00 GMT+8)

East No.8 Milwaukee can’t afford any slip-up from here on out. After all, ninth-seeded Detroit are just behind them after winning five straight.

Boston are unbeaten in six and will be a big test for the Bucks, but Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks can take advantage of the fact that Kyrie Irving and Marcus Smart remained sidelined due to injuries. Pick Milwaukee -2.00 @ 1.96.

Portland Trail Blazers @ Dallas Mavericks (April 04, 08:30 GMT+8)

With a three-game lead over the Spurs, Portland can move closer to clinching the West third seed with a win against Dallas. Fortunately, the Mavs aren’t expected to put up much of a challenge, especially with their porous defence that leaves plenty of open space on the perimeter and three-point territory. Betting on the Blazers -9.00 @ 2.03 is an easy choice.

Indiana Pacers @ Denver Nuggets (April 04, 09:00 GMT+8)

After finishing ninth last year, the Nuggets undoubtedly don’t want a repeat of that heartbreak.

Sure enough, Victor Oladipo and his streaking Pacers are tough to beat, but Denver have the advantage of playing at home where they are 28-10 this campaign. That being said, Denver -4.00 @ 2.00 is a risky but worthwhile proposition.

Los Angeles Lakers @ Utah Jazz (April 04, 09:00 GMT+8)

Two losses in a row had the Lakers destined to finish 11th in the tough Western Conference. Utah, however, might not show mercy on them given that a postseason berth is at stake.

Julius Randle will be the key for the Los Angeles, but it’s hard to see him doing much against the Jazz’ defence anchored by the twin towers of Rudy Gobert and Derrick Favors.

Sacramento Kings @ Phoenix Suns (April 04, 10:00 GMT+8)

With 15 straight defeats, the Suns’ intention is clear. Sacramento might just be forced to the W here considering how much better Phoenix are when it comes to tanking and losing games. Even Devin Booker can’t save them!

San Antonio Spurs @ LA Clippers (April 04, 10:30 GMT+8)

San Antonio are peaking just at the right moment. They are 8-2 in their last 10 games and have won two in a row, which puts them on pace for the playoffs—after questions if they can even make it without Kawhi Leonard.

The Clippers, on the other hand, are drifting away from the West race, no thanks to a slew of injuries and some horrible decision-making on the defensive end. Go for the Spurs -1.50 @ 1.95.
