Utah Jazz 120-111 San Antonio Spurs
The Spurs tried to play good basketball behind LaMarcus Aldridge and found some relative success. However, Rubio’s 34-point outburst secured the W for the Jazz. Rudy Gobert’s presence down low also helped secure the win.
Golden State Warriors 108-115 Denver Nuggets
The Warriors bench called in sick as the starters were forced to do everything against the Nuggets. Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry tried to score their way out of the ditch, but stellar outings from Nikola Jokic and the rest of the Nuggets helped secure the W.
Dallas Mavericks 106-99 Sacramento Kings
The usually sleepy Golden 1 Center bore witness to an entertaining game between two of the NBA’s smallest teams.
De’Aaron Fox excited the home crowd with his strong play, and Willie Cauley-Stein played well alongside Zach Randolph. However, the Mavericks simply outscored them in the final frame, leading to a satisfying win for Harrison Barnes and friends.
