Morata’s the Man to Win You Big Football Games

Alvaro Morata headed home a crucial winner on 55 minutes to give Chelsea a massive win over Manchester United, the stand-out result on a cracking weekend of Premier League football.

Manchester City were the big winners, beating Arsenal and moving eight points clear at the top as betting odds on the title returning to the Etihad continue to tumble.

Chelsea 1-0 Manchester United

Morata’s winner decided a fantastic match at Stamford Bridge which Chelsea deservedly won. Sports betting fans expected a tight game but not such great entertainment. David de Gea kept United in the hunt which provided thrills right to the last. Big win for Chelsea.

Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 Crystal Palace

Spurs are beginning to look at home at the Wembley Stadium but it took an hour for them to break down a resolute Crystal Palace. Heung-Min Son fired home from the edge of the box to keep Spurs in touch with the top but the Eagles are in desperate trouble.

West Ham United 1–4 Liverpool

Mo Salah scored the first and last in a rout for Jurgen Klopp’s side in London. Manuel Lanzini dragged the Hammers back into the game at 2-1 after a one-sided first half, but Hammers’ hopes were dashed as Pool romped home to go fifth.

Southampton 0-1 Burnley

The Clarets continued their excellent start to the campaign with a hard fought victory in Southampton which keeps them seventh. In a cagey encounter Sam Vokes climbed off the bench to head a superb winner on 81 minutes.

Everton 3-2 Watford

The Toffees finally showed some fight, coming back from a two-goal deficit to win after Oumar Niasse dragged them back into the game early in the second half. Dominic Kalvert Lewin headed the equaliser on 74 and Leighton Baines bagged the winner from the spot.

Swansea City 0-1 Brighton & Hove Albion

Big Glenn Murray was the man of the moment in Wales to notch his fourth goal of the campaign and give the Seagulls back-to-back away wins. Chris Hughton’s team is flying high in ninth but the Swans look in real danger of sinking in the drop zone.

Huddersfield Town 1-0 West Bromwich Albion

The Terriers are still highly fancied to get relegated but they’re making a decent fist of it. Rajiv Van la Parra scored a 35 year screamer fit to win any game, but that’s no consolation to the struggling Baggies.

Stoke City 2-2 Leicester City

Peter Crouch rolled back the years to score a late equaliser and deny the Foxes three points after an entertaining tussle in the Midlands. Both keepers made superb saves to keep the score down and settle their teams in mid table.

Newcastle United 0-1 Bournemouth

The Cherries are finally out of the relegation zone thanks to a last gasp winner to consign Newcastle to consecutive 1-0 defeats. Steve Cook was the hero with a bullet header on 92 minutes.
