Rafael Nadal vs Kevin Anderson
Despite an up-and-down campaign on the hard court, Rafael Nadal will be determined to secure his third US Open title. For Kevin Anderson, meanwhile, he will look to cap what has been already a memorable week with the biggest win of his career.
The online betting favourite to come out on top in this battle is clear. Nadal is the World No.1 and the tournament’s top seed, and with Money Line Odds putting him at 1.12 – a stark contrast to Anderson who is at 5.54 – sports betting pundits know that it would be near impossible to stop him now.

Anderson, on the other hand, had a sensational win over Pablo Carreno Busta. He had a hard time dealing with the younger and more athletic Spaniard, but his excellent play on the service end gave him the advantage.
The Johannesburg native’s serve has been his biggest weapon in the tournament. He already has 114 aces in this year’s US Open and even hit 22 against Carreno Busta the last time out. If he can keep up his form and continue turning his defence into attack, there’s no doubt that he can put up a fight against Nadal.
These two have met four times, with Nadal winning all those games. The 15-time Grand Slam champion also has dropped only one set against Anderson, painting a clear picture of his dominance over the South African.
Nonetheless, I think this match will turn out differently this time considering that a Grand Slam title is at stake. Nadal has the experience and the right tools to win this one, but Anderson should be able to snatch a set or two with the way he is playing now.
