With Erling Haaland probably tired after playing for Norway in the World Cup 2022 qualifiers, Borussia Dortmund can’t afford to be over-reliant on his goalscoring exploits.
It is easy to depend on the Norwegian sensation as he has been playing out of his mind lately, and he is now the second leading scorer behind Robert Lewandowski in the Bundesliga.
Haaland has a prime opportunity to add on to his total this Saturday especially with Robert Lewandowski out for at least four weeks due to a knee injury.
It is unfortunate timing for Lewandowski as he was on his way to break Gerd Muller’s 1972 record for most goals in a single season (40).
Moreover, BVB come into this match confident since they’ll get back some of their key pieces.
Skipper Marco Reus and full-back Raphael Guerreiro are both back in team training after sitting out their last few games.
